One Day Removals at British Independent Film Awards - Update
Stirton Productions latest movie 'One Day Removals', regretfully did not receive the Raindance Award at the 11th British Independent Film Awards. That honour went to Zebra Crossings by writer/director Samuel Holland. Holland and his team have spent the past 7 years and nearly a million pounds to complete their movie, we would like to congratulate them on their win and wish them all the best with their future plans.
The star filled event at Old Billingsgate Market was a great venue for meeting many of the biggest stars in cinema and Mark Stirton and Josie Walsh managed to meet most of them. The intrepid ambassadors from Stirton Productions had a great time despite not picking up the award.
Photos above show Mark and Josie in their party frocks (left) and Mark chumming up to Jekyll star and host of the awards, James Nesbitt.

Raindance Film Festival - One Day Removals Success
One Day Removals premiere at the 16th Raindance festival was a resounding success, not only did a large crowd attended the screening but they also enjoyed it immensely. We would like to thank all of the festival staff for this great opportunity to bring the movie to a wider audience.
Here is a segment from the Raindance Festival blog.
"Possibly the funniest film of the festival, "One Day Removals" screened to a surprisingly large crowd given its matinee start time. This brilliantly scripted black comedy epitomizes the independent mentality and will surely go on to endure 'cult classic' status".
