ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW PROJECT:
Stirton Productions is pleased to announce that pre-production has started on our next movie: ‘GOOD GUYS VS BAD GUYS’.
This new project is a martial arts action film extravaganza: featuring a host of fantastic characters, amazing action sequences and lots of drums!
“Good Guys vs Bad Guys,” will be produced by Michael G. Clark, Kerwin Robertson and Mark Stirton - who will also be directing. The screenplay is now complete and we are looking forward to working together to make this the most memorable Stirton Productions movie to date.
The response to our last film, “One Day Removals” has been amazing and we are very grateful to those who made it happen, particularly Elliot Grove and the Raindance Film Festival for getting us off to such a positive start. Our thanks go out to him and all the subsequent film festivals that were kind enough to showcase the film in the UK and internationally.
While we are looking forward to this new project, we were all very saddened by the recent death of our good friend and major Stirton Productions contributor, Graham William Robertson. Graham’s passing was a great shock to everyone and it seems strange to be starting a new project without his input and friendship. Nevertheless, the show must go on and while Graham might be gone, his enthusiasm and humour remain with us always.

One Day Removals - Distribution News
Stirton Productions is delighted to announce the acquisition of it's Scottish Black comedy "One Day Removals," by Canadian film sales company, Cinemavault. Cinemavault has an excellent reputation for the distribution of independent movies.

The Planet - Unleashed
"The Planet," Stirton Productions Sci-Fi/Horror movie is now available online from Blinkbox for rent or download.
The movie is already available on DVD in the USA and Japan, but this is its first retail UK release. If you like unconventional science fiction, try this out.
Update - 27th July 2009.One Day Removals Major Success at 1st Aberdeen Film Festival

One Day Removals played to a full house for it screening at the Aberdeen City and Shire Film Festival. Attending the launch of the city's first film festival were representatives from several of the festival's funding bodies and partners, Scottish Screen, Regional Screen Scotland and Aberdeen city and shire council.
The festival was opened by the Aberdeenshire Provost Bill Howatson, and Lord Provost of Aberdeen city, Peter Stephen. With a special introductory speech by Morgan Petrie of Scottish Screen. Several of the cast and crew also attended, notably the lead actors, Patrick Wight and Scott Ironside.
Throughout the screening at the Belmont Cinema, the audience howled with laughter and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Later at the question and answer session, hosted by Andy Kennedy, Mark Stirton and Michael Clark (representing the production team) had many great questions from the audience. After the screening an after-show party was hosted by the organisers.
Stirton Productions would like to thank all those involved in the festival for their enthusiasm and help. A special thanks to Neil Shirran and Dallas King for making us look good.
